7/20-23 Summer camp Ming An

I came early to be on time and not to miss everything :) But the kids were allowed to come exact at 9 o´clock. So we were just chating and doing preparation for the whole day.
Finaly I got to know my kids. I had this time 9 kids, 5 girls and 4 boys. All of them were very young, mostly first and second grade :)

 I chose a teamleder, who wanted to be a temaleder- her name was Tiffany. She led her team very well.

On the second they we went outside for enviromental and straight dog issues. It was very hot but in the afternoon there were some clouds.

Third day we had environmenatl presentations and story time. Third day was everytime very difficult for us, because we had to repeat the same thing for 4times twice :D
But the kids were listening so it was okey, no stress :)

In the evening we were invited for a dinner- all 4 of us. One office lady invited us to her house. It was very nice and I enjoyed that.
All three days went quickly by and the last day of all was in front of us.
The kids were playing games- communication an team work games.
We were chating a lot with other trainees, because it was our last day to be together.
I thing we had a great time, we were enjoying all the dances and our team performance as well.

Summer camp ended and our staying here as well. All of us went for a dinner and around 8 o´clock we said our final goodbye.
I am going to miss them a lot, we were a good team and I could get to know the best trainees.
The best time ever!!! :)

7/12-16 Summer camp Gangliao

We could stay in the Gangliao kindergarten. It was much better than the first camp. I wasn´t so exhausted and I enjoeyd the camp even more. The days vere same, but the kids very completely different. I liked them very much.

 

My team could speak english very well and they were obeying what they were told.  Best kid of the first day was Andy from my team.
Every day went so fast by. I woke up, got there in one minute, stayed with the children the whole day, in the evening stayed in our room.

We couldn´t go out after 8 o´clock, the gate was closed. That´s why we were spending our nights at that kindergarten :D

One night we were cooking dishes from all over the world. Taiwan, India, England and Czech.
So many dishes on one desk and everything was so yamiii :)

 The last day my team won the team competition and I was so proud of them :)
 I gave them my email address in case they want to improve their english or just to have a contact with me :)

7/8-10 Kaoshiung and Glass island

We had to wake up very early to catch our bus to Kaoshiung. It was very nice and comfortbale bus.
I watched a movie (english and chinese subtitles) but as usual during a movie I fell asleep.
After few hours we reached Kaoshiung. We took a taxi just 130TN each for the route to our port.

We took a boat to go to the Glass island. We arrived in the afternoon on that island. We lent scooters and went for our accomodation.

The accomodation was in traditional taiwanese style. It was very nice but the beds were very hard :/

We went out visited some places and came for the sunset back. In the evening we had barbecue.

Second day we went snorcheling. It was nice experience. That day were high waves so we couldn´t go any further.
After snorcheling we were going around the island and taking pictures. We had to catch our boat at 4pm.
We came to Kaoshionung in the evening, came to Miki´s grandma and took a rest. In the eveving we went to a night market.

I bought some very cheap clothes and had fried banana for my dinner.
The last day we left our home at 11 went to eat seafood and went to sea side. We had shaved ices with fruit.

We left for our bus. But the buses were sold out, so we had to take more expensive one. I had my personal TV and the seat was so big that 2 people could sit in it.

We arrived at 12 o ´clock at Taipei. My hostfather took me and B from Fujen home :))

7/4-7 Summer camp Chang ping

For these three days I had my first summer camp. I am so busy that I don´t have time to write on my blog anymore. So just briefly :)

On the first day I got my team- Sea horse. 4 girls and 6 boys. The first day was very difficult.
We had to speak a lot.I got a cold and my throat hurt a lot. At the end of the day I had to get my 845 bus but the bus didn´t come. I waited 40 min and nothing. So I toook 99 to Ming an and after that I had to transfer to my home.

Second day we were the whole day outside, visiting some organisation.
I didn ´t like that, beacuse I din´t understand anything and it was sooo hot :(
I have to go two more times, I hope there will be a taiphoon in the next 2 weeks:D

Third day was okey. The day passed quickly by. I held some issue about recycling. .My stupid bus (845) was not coming in the last three days so my hostfather took me that day from Ming an and I was not feeling so exhausted after that day :)

The last day was the best of all. In the morning children played games and in the afternoon there was a show for parents. My team really did the best and I was proud of them how they managed it :))

3/7 Sunday

We had Fujen university meeting for our camp.
We had to be there at 9 but with B we were there the first as usual..We watched Big bang theory in the mean time. After 9 o ´clock everyone came.

We prepared our dances, the decoration and everything for our big day tomorrow.

We had lunch there, I had some sandwich it was very good but I thing too much maionese.
We ended after 6 pm. I had to go to B´s family, because my family went into city center.
They came by around 9 o ´clock and that was the end of my busy day.

7/2 Saturday

Today we didn´t go to any trips by our self. In the morning I was sleeping till 9 o´clock after I did my blog and my office work. In the afternoon we went with my hostfamily and B to a department store.

It was a huge department store.
It has about 6 floors. We went shoping, but didn ´t buy anything :D
Afterwards we went to a playing ground.
There were families with children playing basketbal, baseball or skating.

I´ve never seen such a huge playing area in a department store.
In the evening I had spaghetti as usuall :D

7/1 Friday- Xinbeitou

Today I slept till 8 o´clock. I made my breakfast as normally as I am doing at home :)
At 10 o´clock we went with B to Xinbeitou- famous for hot spring.

Firstly we visited Ketagalan culture center. Air con was broken so it was very hot inside we stayed there just awhile.

Then public library-ecological building.

Afterwards Beitou spring museum- where I had to take off my shoes. I wasn´t excited about that.

And in the end we visited thermal valley.

On our way back we bought wafle and stayed a liitle while in a air con room.
In the evening there was teacher´s dinner with 10 dishes. I sang with B and my hostfather a song I new a liitle bit.

6/30 Thursday Yingee

Today we didn´t have to go to school anymore.
We decided to meet at school and after 9 AM  we went for our trip to Yingee.
There was  an old pottery street and a  pottery museum as well.  But the Museum was till 30/6 closed.

We went just around. I had a icecream in MCD and we were waiting till 1 p.m 

for the shops to open.

It was nice and the shops were cute. But I didn´t buy anything because it would be just to heavy for my luggage and maeby it could get broken.

We arrived at 4 pm o´clock at Ming An. Afterwards I went home.

6/29 Wednesday Miramar

Today We were told at 10 o´clock that we are free and we can plan some trip.
I did my work in the morning. In the afternoon I decided to go to Miramar.

But before that I went to exchange my money for trips. I got my money with good exchange rate.
Afterwards I saw a bakery so we went there. The baker there bought me a bread, beacuse I was so beautiful and invited me togo to australia with him for the next whole year :D

Afternoon I went with Loskesh to Miramar. Everyone was so busy so just two of us.
We have been on that Feris Wheel. It was raining so we couldn´t see so far but it was a good experience :)

Later then we went into that department store. We bought icecream with wafle.

In the end we went to carefour, I bought bread (not sweet), tomatoes and butter.
I came home aorund 8 p.m.and a bus driver told me, that he knows me :D
